Plans for a big screen version of the 1980's television series The Fall Guy are back on track today as The Hollywood Reporter brings word that star Dwayne Johnson and director McG are teaming to tackle the property.

The original series, which ran for five seasons beginning in 1981, starred Lee Majors as Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who also worked as a bounty hunter. Created by Glen A. Larson, the show also starred Douglas Barr and Heather Thomas.

Back in 2011, Green Lantern and Casino Royale helmer Martin Campbell was eyeing the project himself with X-Men: First Class screenwriters Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz providing the screenplay. There's no word yet on whether any of their script will be retained for this iteration.

The Fall Guy will be produced by Ashok Amritraj, Laurie MacDonald and Walter Parkes.

McG hat ja bereit die Engel für Charlie erfolgreich adaptiert, würde also passen. Nur irgendwie kann ich mir Dwayne Johnson so gar nicht als Nachfolger von Lee Majors vorstellen :rolleyes:

War eine nette Serie früher.

Der Plot könnte auch einen Kinofilm tragen, auf die Umsetzung kommt es an.

Vielleicht spielt ja ein Teil in der Geisterbahn und dann kann man einen Gastauftritt von Jody einbauen.

Wir werden alle älter, logo, aber was Chirurgie aus hübschen Menschen machen kann ist erschreckend. Warum können einige nicht in Würde altern?
Ansonsten finde ich die Idee gut, mochte A-Team, die drei Engel fand ich auch süss, also. Mal sehen was kommt

Also ich mag The Rock wirklich gerne auf der Leinwand und auch bei Hercules freue ich mich drauf aber als Colt Seavers passt er mMn garnicht. Mir fällt aber auch aktuell kein passender Mitte 40jähriger ein, der optisch passen würde.

Eine Verfilmung die auch schon seit Jahren geplant ist....erinnere mich noch das mal George Clooney damit in verbindung stand.
Dwayne Johnson würde ich aber Klasse finden als Colt!
