Sandler hatte durchaus brachbare Komödien und auch Dramen am Start, wenn auch viel Ausschuss dabei war.
McCarthy kann ich an sich halt schon gar nicht leiden, daher vermeide ich nach Möglichkeit Filme mit ihr in der Hauptrolle. Einzig The Nines mit Ryan Reynolds in der Hauptrolle gefiel mir, wobei das eben auch keine Komödie ist, sondern eher ein Mysteriedrama und sie hat ne große Nebenrolle.
Da muss ich sagen, spielte sie auch durchaus überzeugend und nervte mich nicht.

Stimmt. Bei dem Film war McCarthy ein konstantes Ärgernis. Aber der hatte auch sonst so seine Probleme. Trotz Bullock.
Einzig St. Vincent war wirklich ganz OK. Aber das lag nicht an McCarthy sondern an einem wie immer grandiosen Bill Murray.

Sandler hat meiner Meinung nach auch nur einen wirklich guten Film gemacht. Happy Gilmore. Ein paar seiner anderen Werke sind ganz nett (Kindsköpfe 1/2, Bedtime Stories), aber erheben sich auch kaum aus der Trivialität heraus.

Ich vermute mal, das dieser Film eine ganz neue Form des Is-Terrors wird....da kommt etwas wirklich Böses auf uns zu....
