Gerard Butler is in negotiations to star in the action-thriller Manhunt for Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher's Double A Pictures, reports Deadline. Breck Eisner will direct the film starting at the end of the year.

According to the site, "the plot involves a team of FBI agents sent to the North Carolina wilderness to chase the FBI’s most wanted man, domestic terrorist and survivalist James Tollan, who has eluded arrest with the support of the local population while attacking the federal government. They enroll the help of a reluctant bear hunter to capture the killer. But once the team enters the woods, the hunters become the hunted as Tollan will stop at nothing to survive and defend his territory."

The script was written by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.

Könnt was werden, gleich die nächste Actionrolle für Gerard Butler - wird auch Zeit das der wieder ein paar Männerfilme macht :thumb:
Vom Plot her klingts ein wenig wie "Rambo" und "Auf der Jagd", aber immer her damit.

Hat er nicht jetzt schon mehrere Actionfilme angekündigt?

Naja wird aber auch wirklich Zeit bei ihm, mag den Schauspieler sehr gerne. Sogar in Komödien, aber für Action mag ich den lieber.

Wollte gerade nen Thread aufmachen:p

Ich finde das hört sich richtig gut an!

Die Story ansich mag nix neues mehr sein, aber einen Action-Thriller in diesem Ambiente und mit der Dynamik, die der Aufhänger und das Szenario ermöglicht, könnte das ein erstklassiger Actionreißer werden:cool::thumb:
