The disc specifications for the 'Bourne' films list the discs as "BD-59", which indicates that they would be dual-layered on both the BD and DVD sides.

Flipper BD/DVD discs were tested in the early days of Blu-ray, but they were deemed impractical. It is unknown what development has made them possible now, and if any other company has worked in the development.

In 2006-2008, when Universal supported HD DVD exclusively, they were the major studio that most often went for combo editions, using it for most of its new releases and even some catalog titles.

:rofl: Ne mal im ernst. Ich hab den mist bei den Friends DVD Boxen schon gehasst. Ich weiß nicht was der Blödsinn soll.

Von Serien kenne ich das auch, Filme mit Extras auf der 2ten Seite sind ja auch nichts neues.

Bei der HD-DVD Box von Matrix ist mir das dann wieder über den Weg gelaufen.

Eigentlich kein schlechtes Prinzip, allerdings entfällt der für manche ja wichtige Aufdruck auf der Disc und dann hat man nicht nur eine sondern zwei Seiten die man verkratzen könnte wenn man nicht aufpasst.

Die Vorteile überwiegen für mich aber dennoch. Man muss nur aufpassen:)

Ich finde das so eine unbedruckte CD ausschaut wie ein normaler Rohling :confused:

Wo gibt es da einen Vorteil?? Ist doch völlig unlogisch. Wer braucht den Film als DVD wenn man die BD hat? Und jetzt nicht wieder der Mist von wegen Kinderzimmer...

Eventuell nur die Extras auf der 2ten Seite, meinetwegen auch in SD Qualität.

Wenns für die Hersteller eine Kostenersparnis bringt?

Und was hat Logik damit zu tun? Wenns um neue Methoden der Vermarktung geht setzt der Verstand leichter aus.

Mit 2 Filmen auf 2 unterschiedlichen "Medien" auf dem selben Rohling kann man wunderbar alle ausgelutschten Titel nochmals auf den Markt bringen.

Einen Käufer der meint das haben zu müssen wird man finden. DA steckt dann vielleicht die Logik dahinter;)

Wenn die dann wenigstens eine alternative anbieten (z.b. einmal nur Bluray und dann nochmal eine auflage mit Blu und DVD) dann fände ich alles in ordnung. So wie es jetzt geplant ist finde ich es nur blöd.:sad:

Ich find/fand die Flipper furchtbar. Ich hatte mal einige Flipper DVDs, hab ich nach und nach alle gegen Neuaflagen bzw. Special Edition ausgetauscht die kein Flipper sind. Derzeit hab ich nur noch Lethal Weapon 4 als Flipper. Die BR/DVD Flipper-Combo werde ich so gut es geht umgehen.

Fehlt nur noch, dass wieder das Snapper-Case eingeführt wird :eek:

Und dann noch im schönen Rosa :D

Ich hab diese double Discs schon immer gehasst. So ein Mist *grml*
