So, hier ist die offizielle Mail an alle Pré-Orderer bei der Cité.
Ich finde die Stellung, die die Cité hier bezieht sehr gut und nachvollziehbar!! Ich würde mir da eine geschlossene Haltung aller "Europäer" wünschen...
Die Mail spricht denke ich für sich selbst:
Hello,
concerning the Sucker Punch collection we encounter a problem with Gentle Giant the manufacturer, as with all the manufacturers with the launching of a new product an pre-order is open with a deadline, “the tacit contract” would like that the quantities subjected before deadline are guaranteed by the manufacturer, but the baby doll unfortunately it's not the case.
We confirmed before deadline approx. 20 pieces of the baby doll statue, a few days after our official Gentle Giant suppliers informed us that they will not receive any stock from Gentle Giant because the statue is sold out in pre order.
Surprised, we contacted Gentle for a explanations request (the follow-up of the discussion with a person in charge of
Gentle is in bottom of this e-mail). Briefly Gentle confirms that they sold almost 85% of the 500 statues on their web site on direct sale and thus which there remain approximately only 60 pieces for all the suppliers in the world (sic) !
Our goal was that they are respectful from their international distributers/retailers and that they quite simply decide to increase the limitation of this statue to honor the pre-orders subjected before deadline, obviously it's not in their intentions, thus we took the decision to not follow this collection considering the disrespectful attitude of Gentle for the main character of this new movie. This difficult decision is obviously in our disadvantage but it's our only solution to mark our dissension towards the policy of this manufacturer who for a certain time from now it's not very professional (perpetual delay in the productions, increasingly random quality of the products, a lot of exclusives products which are almost never accessible to the european consumers at reasonable prices and which break the different collection, etc…). Moreover it's certain that other manufacturers will also have the license for this movie and will offer products of better qualities, I think in particular of Sideshow.

We present to you all our sincere excuses for this probelm completely independent of our will.

Der Dealer , dessen Name nicht genannt werden darf, sagt er kriegt welche - ich hab geordert und jetzt heisst es abwarten - Fest steht - ich nehm nur alle zusammen !

Also ich den Kauf der kompletten Reihe bei meinem Händler auch von der Baby Doll abhängig gemacht. Wenn es die Baby Doll nicht gibt, storniere ich alle.

Meine Baby Doll wurde vom Händler La cité storniert trotz vorheriger Garantie und Vorrauszahung, die Gründe wurden ja schon genannt. Also werde ich die anderen Figuren aus der Sucker Punch Reihe ebenfalls stornieren, soll GG den Kram behalten. Sollte GG mal wieder etwas so stark limitiertes und für mich interessantes rausbringen, order ich halt gleich direkt bei Gentle Giant, dann vom Prinzip her, finde ich das voll ok, das die Limitierung eingehalten wird.

Dito !! ...auch wenn es bei mir nur zwei sind (Baby Doll und Amber);)
