Das wäre ja ganz schöner Murks bei einem Zombiefilm!

FSK16 würde aber auch reichen, das Buch war im Verhältnis auch nicht so brutal wie die meisten anderen aus dem Genre. Aber das Buch war auch generell erfrischend anders, der Film scheint ja leider eher 08/15 zu werden wenn sie ihn wirklich so ändern wie in dem Zitat von ericdraven ein paar Posts weiter oben. Schade, aber ich bleibe trotzdem mal guter Hoffnung.

Da bin ich anderer Meinung:
Ich denke nicht, dass die Quantität des Gore- oder des Gewaltfaktor eines (Zombie-)Films auch nur annähernd etwas über dessen Qualität aussagt. Siehe z.B. ZOMBIELAND (FSK 16), SHAUN OF THE DEAD (FSK 16), RESIDENT EVIL (FSK 16) oder I AM LEGEND (FSK 12). Viele Filme mit ner ordentlichen Portion Splatter gleiten sehr schnell in die Schiene des Trash ab und das darf man bei einer Majorproduktion mit enormen Budget, einem A-List-Darsteller und einer (wie Kuma schon sagte) sowieso eher tiefgründigen Story erst garnicht zulassen! Und die Umlegeung der Zeitlinie IST notwendig damit der Plot auch funktioniert! Ich bin vollkommen guter Dinge...

Filming concludes today at Falmouth Docks for the Hollywood blockbuster World War Z.

Parts of A&P Falmouth have been transformed into a movie set by Paramount Pictures, which is using Falmouth as one of its key filming locations for the multi million pound zombie thriller starring Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox and Mireille Enos.

Work has continued as normal throughout the yard, which is currently full to capacity, with filming for World War Z taking place on board a soon-to-be decommissioned ship in the docks.

A&P Falmouth MD Peter Child said: “The A&P Group is delighted to be able to host the filming of World War Z in our facilities at Falmouth. It is a major commitment, especially when at present we have four major contracts in the yard and the dry docks are full.

“As a major business and employer in the area we know it will also be a big boost to the local economy, just like the Tall Ships events we regularly host. It also demonstrates A&P’s ability to provide a full range of marine services to all types of customers, whether they be for ships, cargoes, marine renewables, cruise passengers or major Hollywood productions.”

World War Z Producer Colin Wilson added: “It’s been an ambitious shoot here and we couldn’t have done it without the cooperation of A&P and the town of Falmouth.”

Falmouth Docks has a history as a film location, or a base for filming at sea, dating back more than 60 years. Notable productions include Scott of the Antarctic, Robinson Crusoe and Hornblower.

Naja... Zombieland und Shaun of the Dead waren Komödien und die Zombies bei I am Legend waren auch keine richtigen Zombies (so wie die Vampiere in Twilight keine echten Vampiere sind^^)...

...ich finde zu einem Zombie Film gehört schon ein wenig Gore und Splatter dazu! FSK16 bzw. R-Rated wäre für mich das Minimum! Schließlich soll es ja um einen Zombie-Weltkrieg gehen... und da gibt es sicher derbe Verluste auf beiden Seiten... wie soll das mit FSK12 gehen?

Wobei in der Tat einige Stellen ohne halbwegs explizite Darstellung in der Tat nicht wirklich gut umsetzbar denke ich, Stichwort "Yonkers" :D

As a result of the filming of World War Z, there will be motorist and pedestrian restrictions at various times from midnight (00:00 hours) on 15 August - midnight (00:00 hours) on 31 August.


Road closures

The following streets around the City Chambers and George Square will be closed to motorists; Cochrane Street; South Frederick Street; Hanover Street; George Square (north side of the Square from North Hanover Street, east and south side); North Frederick Street (from George Square to Martha Street); George Street (from George Square to John Street); and North Hanover Street from the junction with George Square.
Motorists will get access to Queen Street Station for south and northbound traffic. North Hanover Street southbound traffic is closed from Queen Street Station onwards. Access northbound from George Square is unaffected except Sundays 21 and 28 August when George Square will be closed. Pedestrian restrictions

Pedestrians access to the George Square area will be maintained although routes may vary and all businesses will be open. The square will be marshalled by the production and by police officers during filming and pedestrians may be asked to stop for a couple of minutes while the camera is rolling.
