So was sagen eigentlich die beim Casting nun übergangenen und damit
diskriminierend behandelten Darsteller von kleinwüchsigen Menschen
in Filmen dazu? Also Zwergen-Darsteller. Die haben eine ganz klare
Haltung zu Woke-Disney.
Peter Dinklage äußerte sich letztes Jahr schon in einem Podcast zu
der Thematik. Damals wusste man noch nicht das die Zwerge mehr oder
weniger komplett gestrichen sind. Es hieß nur das sie in einer
Höhle hausen.

way but you’re still making that f*****g backward story of the
seven dwarfs living in a cave. What the f*** are you doing,

thought they were doing the right thing, but I’m just like, ‘What
are you doing?’”
“If you tell the story of Snow White and it’s [the] most f***ed up
cool, progressive spin on it? Let’s do it. All in. But I just don’t
know.”
Ein Mann klarer Worte
Nun meldet sich nun ein anderer Zwerg zu Wort, nämlich Dylan Postl
(auch aus der WWE bekannt). Hier mal ein Foto von ihm aus

because that’s not for me. These dwarf roles are for people of my

"And not only that, but now think about the additional stunt actors
or body doubles or that. Now, you’re talking multiple actors of my
statute that don’t get these major roles. And why? What’s the
reasoning? Because we’re supposed to be progressive and just not
view them as that? These are heroes. All of these dwarfs took care
of Snow White. They all had characteristics, separate
characteristics. They weren’t these cave dwelling monsters that
people speak of. They all had seven different characteristics for
seven different actors from my community."
“And I don’t feel it’s right that that got taken away from
us.”
Mir ist das jetzt zu blöde komplett zu übersetzen. Wer es nicht
versteht kann es ja kopieren und bei Deepl reinhauen.
Dazu mal der direkte Vergleich Originalfilm und wie Dylan Postl in
einer ähnlichen Pose aussieht. Ich persönlich finde ihn zu jung für
die Rolle des Doc aber natürlich würde man durch entsprechende
Make-Up Arbeiten aus ihm auch einen alten Zwerg machen
können.
Ich kann die Schauspieler (inkl. der Doubles, Stand-In's,
Stunt-Leuten, etc.) komplett verstehen. Sie sind eine absolute
Randgruppe für die es sowieso viel weniger Jobs gibt. Und dann
kommt ein Film wo etliche Zwerge benötigt werden würden und das
Studio diskriminiert sie wegen einer völlig falschen und so
offensichtlich scheinheiligen Ideologie das die alle nur angepisst
sind. Abermals ein beweis dafür das Wokeness und Progressivität
einfach nur das genaue Gegenteil bewirken wofür "angeblich"
gekämpft wird. Es wird diskriminiert, ausgeschlossen, verurteilt,
Hass geschürt und Gesellschaften geteilt.
Ach so und weil ich aktuell auf vielen US-Seiten unterwegs bin. Ihr
glaubt nicht was man da alles an Gegenwind zu
Brown Snow
White and the 7 Bandits ließt. Das ist ein so dominant
beherrschendes Thema und Disney versucht wohl irgendwie den Deckel
drauf zu halten (s. die Aussagen von Zegler das sie aus der
Diskussion rausgehalten werden möchte) aber das ganze Ding fliegt
Woke-Disney grad sowas um die Ohren. Drei Jahre Entwicklung und
dann nach den ersten "inoffiziellen" Setfotos sowas. @Woke-Disney:
zieh dich schon mal warm an wenn der erste Teaser erscheint. An dem
Tag implodiert das Internet.
Ach so der fairnesshalber erwähne ich das es neben den Banditen
auch noch ein paar Zwerge geben soll. Da der Fokus aber nicht auf
diesen liegt sind das absolute Nebenrollen mit wohl sehr wenig
Screentime. Ich sag es nur, nicht das jemand unterstellt das man
irgendwelche Fakten weglässt.
