Den dunklen Kopf bevorzuge ich, kann es kaum erwarten ihn auszupacken.

"Dr. Strange in hand! I tell ya, you have to be in shape to handle these XM statues! Talk about heavy! I'm ready to take a nap after unboxing. It's a nice rep of the Dr. The paint, AD and execution as usual is excellent. The light up feature is very, very, good if you like that sort of thing and the book and spirit hands are straight up awesome! The orb is well done also.

"Strange Days are upon us. Ok as usual the pics will do the Dr no justice. I'm very pleased with the application of this piece. Ok quick review I'll leave the detailed one to the professionals. Shipper arrived with some nice dents if this was anyone else there would be breakage but not XM

Very original design I luv the levitation aspect. They added a sash that attaches to his side and it adds a really nice flowing motion to the levitation nice touch. Paint has no flaws and I like the color choices. The book and its stand is Outstanding! Light up feature is cool prob won't use much but nice to have. So far my best XM piece yet in my humble opinion. I know everyone wants to hear the negative. I have only one thing to say and I'm sure I will be chastised for it. I appreciate a well made piece and this surly is without a doubt but he is really really heavy. I'm a glass man so when it comes to displays I want to be able to see all angles of my pieces. My shelves are 1/4 in tempered and supported well. But I can't help but get a little freaked out adding this kind of weight to them. I'll just leave it at that. Thanks to XM and my friends who helped my acquire such a beautiful work of art"

"This has been a helacious couple of weeks with XM releases. First there was She-Hulk and Medusa, and now there is Dr. Strange a week later. Now that I have received the Doctor...I am hoping there is another month or two to recoup before Kraven, Elektra and Mysterio get ready to drop. Kraven and Elektra I would think are next. Kraven...another shipping monster. Eek!!!

Anyways, where to begin...Doctor Strange is magnficence through and through. In fact, from a QC standpoint, this is without a doubt the tightest QC on a statue I have received from XM Studios...and that's saying tons!!!! In addition to the tightest QC yet on a XM statue...it is now the second heaviest next to Hulk. Also, for those that care to know...Dr. Strange and the base is one solid piece. It is very sturdy...the cloak is pretty thick yet still gives the appearance of a thin cloak. It's quite astonishing actually for such a heavy statue.

For those that may not know...Doctor Strange was a direct result of a concept contest of She-Hulk, Black Bolt, and Doctor Strange. While I feel I should have won(shameless plug for my concept)...this was a great decision as first prize. XM has pulled this off with great execution and precision. I am quite amazed. Great concept Mr. Tan.:buttrock: APE as usual knocked this out of the park. The light up feature is very, very well done...and an excellent extra that XM decided to add to the composition. Thank you XM...much appreciated. The change in colors from green to yellow to orange is ingenious. Lastly, the podium that holds the book is quite fantastic and definitely helps accentuate the magic nature of Doctor Strange! Painted extremely well with a nice patina....greenish type hue. Well done!

So as you all can see...I am quite enamored with this piece...but what else is new...really! It's XM peeps! Some of you on the fencers are going to eventually fall like humpty dumpty and take the XM plunge...and once you do....it's all over! It's OK to buy 4 XM pieces that you really like a year you know.:thumbs2: Before I get to the pics and the final review score....I also would like to mention the head sculpt (portrait) of Doctor Strange is just damn near perfection! Maybe....just maybe my favorite XM portrait to date! It's really that great! Also, this is one of my top 5 prints done yet out of HIVE. Great work guys. Thanks to XM for another top notch statue in this statue world of mediocrity. I will definitely be switching out the arms every so often. The unmasked head will always be on the statue though. Simply put...it doesn't get any better than this statue...and without a doubt the best Doctor Strange statue ever done in any size.

Overall = 9.38 / 10 A magnificent statue of Dr. Strange all around. Cool podium holding the book of Dr. Strange, great print (top 5), decent extra parts, the best paint app yet on an XM statue, and a pretty cool light up feature make this a must buy for any Dr. Strange fan or appreciator of great art! Excelsior!!!"
