Lionheart kommen. Ich zitiere:
Zitat:
I've been approached about directing a remake of
Van Damme's "Lionheart" with Van Damme by the rights holding
distributor. Not sure if I will do this as it doesn't seem to be a
film needing a remake. I guess I'd changed the Los angeles setting
to Hong Kong, but I am not sure it fits in with what I do. But I
told the rights holder I will consider it depending on how excited
JCVD is about it. And if I can make it with my vision of it.

Zitat:
I think likely, they want me to move some of the
Napoleon money I have raised to move over to Lionheart. Good thing
is Lionheart shouldn't cost more than $2 million to make
ablehnten)
Dann:
Zitat:
I'm not sure a remake is in order except it
would be nice to see JCVD flex those martial art muscles again,
especially against MMA fighters!
If I don't feel I can bring something new and better to it, I'll
pass.
Zitat:
I haven't decided. The distributor that offered
it does have the remake rights and not the sequel rights. I would
only do the remake if I could bring something new to it and if I
can get a unique vision for it. I'll have to decide over the next
few days. I'll read the screenplay and Cynthia and I will see if we
can adjust to my vision of it. The thing is, the remake would be
much more like the charles Bronson film, "Hard Times". Gritty and
more violent I think and it would add MMA style fighting. I think a
remake would be better because JCVD is a much more experienced
actor. Maybe he will be a dad and his real life son or daughter
would play the murdered victim.
Klingt soweit alles ganz cool und recht interessant. Hätte kein
Problem damit das ganze anders anzugehen und JC mal wieder mehr
fighten zu sehen.
Zitat:
If I decide to do it, I'll speak to Sheldon
Lettich, the original screen writer and director about remaking the
script.
I've decided that Sasha Mitchell will be a nice add as JCVD's
sidekick / friend. It'd be amazing to see them together.
Kann allem nur zustimmen. WIESO nicht? JC kann es noch. Er sieht
gut aus, wenn er will und Pyun kann da sicherlich was reißen.
Aufgrund seiner Krankheit wollte er ja gern nochmal was mit JC
drehen, bevor er nicht mehr kann.
Was meint ihr dazu?
