Pünktlich zum Horror-Monat wird Warner Home Video in Zusammenarbeit mit dem neuen Vertriebspartner Plaion Pictures am 02. Oktober 2025 die „A Nightmare on Elm Street Collection“ (USA 1984 bis 1994) auf den Markt bringen. Das Set wird die komplette Filmreihe erstmals in 4K-Auflösung in einem Boxset vereinen. Der Release erfolgt als 11-Disc Set bestehend aus 7 Ultra HD Blu-rays und 4 Blu-rays.

Die „A Nightmare on Elm Street Collection“ wird in einem hochwertigen Library Case mit insgesamt 7 Steelbooks veröffentlicht, die jeweils beim Cover-Artwork eine einzigartige Gestaltung erfahren werden. Der Sonderedition wird weiterhin ein Echtheitszertifikat mit einer Limitierungsnummer beiliegen, wobei die Sonderverpackung auf 4.000 Exemplare begrenzt sein wird. Als besonderes Extra wird außerdem eine 3D-Brille für Passagen des Films „Freddy's Finale - Nightmare on Elm Street 6“ enthalten sein. Vorbestellungen sind zum Preis von 199,99€ ab sofort im Plaion Pictures Shop möglich, wo die Sonderedition exklusiv erscheinen wird. (pf)

Plaion Pictures hat konkretisiert, dass Teil 1 und 5 auch in der deutschen Ausgabe des 4K-Boxsets als Extra in der Uncut- bzw. Unrated-Fassung enthalten sein werden. Diese Fassungen liegen dann allerdings in englischer Original-Sprache vor und sind nicht synchronisiert.UPDATE 2 (vom 31.07.):
Es ist übrigens vorläufig kein Nachfolge-Produkt geplant. Das kann sich natürlich später ändern, zumal in den USA bereits ein Keep Case bestätigt wurde. Außerdem bezieht sich die Limitierung von 4.000 Exemplaren auf die ganze Welt. In Deutschland wird es im Plaion Pictures Shop 1.000 Exemplare geben.

The collection also includes an alternate ending of Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare presented in anaglyph 3D and complete with 3D glasses in the physical collection.

Amazon.fr dürfte identische Disks und identische Steelbooks haben, bislang war eigentlich immer nur das mit eingeschweißte Einlegeblatt in Landessprache.
Ich würde mich ja über den 4k - Scan des ersten Teils auf Blu Ray freuen und sofort kaufen. Die wurde bei der 40th Anniversary Edition nämlich sträflich vernachlässigt und wieder mit dem schlechten alten Master herausgebracht. Offenbar plant Plaion nicht, das in Zukunft zu ändern.
Die Box ist auch auf Amazon.fr kaufbar zum gleichen Preis.
Fnac.fr hat die lim. Box für 199€ und eine einfache 4k+ BD Box für 165€ gelistet.Ob Keepcases oder Digi, steht noch nicht fest.
