1. Wie siehts denn mit der Garantiedauer in den USA aus?
2. Wie lange und teuer würde im Garantiefall die Rücksendung?

Laut beiliegender Bedienungsanleitung sind es zwei Jahre.

zu 2.
keine Ahnung, aber da der Player ca. 280€ weniger gekostet hat als in Deutschland, sollten mehr als 3 Rücksendungen drin sein ohne drauf zu legen. Ich hoffe nicht, dass das der Fall sein wird.

Special Notice:

This Public Beta firmware is designed to work with new versions of Apple iOS and Android media control applications, which add new features like DMS (digital media server), DMC (digital media controller), virtual keyboard, player settings, and disc playback controls. The Media Control V3.0 will be available in the Apple Store and the Android Play Store shortly.

Due to the extensive changes in this major firmware update, it is required that the user performs a "Reset Factory Defaults" operation after the firmware is installed. Comparing to the current Official release version BDP10XEU-75-0515, the major changes included in this version are:

1. Added Polish OSD

2. Resolved a Colour Space issue for the HDMI 1 Out in BDP-103D/105D. Customers reported that if the Resolution was set to Source Direct and the Colour Space was set to RGB Video Level, the actual colour space sent out was RGB PC Level. This issue has been fixed in this firmware.

3. Resolved a Picture Adjustment issue found on 75-0515 firmware. Customers reported that after changing the Picture Adjustment parameters for HDMI 1, the value of Contrast Enhancement would automatically go back to 0. It has been fixed in this firmware.

4. Resolved a playback issue with regular DVD discs found on 75-0515 firmware. Customers reported that if the "DVD 24p Conversion" was set to "On", pressing the REV (rewind) button within the DVD playback could cause the player to immediately freeze up. This issue has been resolved in this firmware.

5. Resolved a HDMI Audio issue with some 2L Blu-ray Music discs. Customers reported that if the AV Sync was set to 90ms and above, there might be no audio signal from both HDMI outputs.

6. Modified the RS-232 serial control protocol: we eliminated the "#APP FFR" due to the removal of Film Fresh service, added the "#APP BER" to enable access to the Berlin Philharmoniker concert service, also fixed an issue with "#SZM" that could not change the Aspect Ratio.

7. Improved the Gapless Playback feature, and resolved an issue where the gapless mode could not be enabled for some 96 kHz / 24-bit WAV files.

8. Improved support for CUE files, specifically for CUE files that point to multiple WAV files.

All features and improvements of the previous firmware are also included in this version.

ich bin ja immer noch nicht ganz mit dem Thema durch und Grobi.tv macht es einem auch nicht einfacher was die ganzen Spielerein (BD Player, Darblet und Co) so angeht :D

Ich hätte noch ein paar gezielte Fragen zum OPPO BDP 103D EU.

1) Ist der eingebaute DARBEE Bilderverbesserer gleichzusetzen mit dem externen Darbee DARBLET DVP 5000?
2) Hat er einen Browser zum Surfen?
3) Gibt es eigene Apps oder werden Neuerungen wie Netflix per Firmware aufgespielt?
Was ich gerne hätte, wäre: Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, Maxdome, SkyGo, RTLNow, Youtube.
Einige davon wären auch nicht unbedingt mit nem integrierten Browser abrufbar, da Hürden wie Silverlight und Co. gegeben sind.
4) Kann man per DLNA alles streamen? Sprich, würde der Oppo auch ein BD Verzeichnis (25-45GB schaffen)?
5) Macht es Sinn doch lieber zu warten im Bezug auf 4k? Ist schon ein neuer Oppo angekündigt?

4) ka, dafür kaufst dir am besten einen richtigen Mediaplayer. Von HDD geht wohl einiges (bis auf ISO) aber der Player hat Cinavia und somit wirst du diverse Filme nicht sehen können
5) Nichts angekündigt, gibt auch noch keinen Chip von Qdeo meines Wissens dafür und ansonsten siehe Nighteyes Antwort.

Zu 1) Ist ja der Hammer. Da könnte man die 350€ für das/den Darbee DARBLET DVP 5000 gegenrechnen. Hatte das Gerät eben auch auf dem Schirm^^

Zu 2) Schade. Ich hätte echt gerne mal eine All-In-One Lösung gehabt.

Zu 3) Wie würde Netflix denn kommen? Gibt es eine Art App-Store oder kommt es per Firmware?

Zu 4) Ja Media Player besitze ich schon, wäre eben schön gewesen wenn er es auch gekonnt hätte. 1. sollte das Bild über den Oppo wohl Besser sein und 2. hätte man sich wieder eine Kiste gespart.
