Look what showed up today! They told me yesterday that it was going to be delivered today, but their appointment time to pick up the container was not until 11PM! So, I held off posting anything! Because, as you know, we've been "teased" like this before! So, we sent out the shield to those who paid in full, except for about 18 pieces. We filled 3 FedEx trucks and that was all the trucks they had in the area. So, we have 18 pieces left over. Those will go out tomorrow. So since we sent the tracking numbers out last week, you should be able to track your shield at FedEx.com since these were picked up a couple hours ago! Thanks once again for your patience!

congrats! so far here's what i think...

i love the weight and feel of this thing! that was one of my concerns on getting the final product. while i knew this would be made of fiberglass, i was a little worried that the whole thing would feel cheap. it doesn't . it has a great feel to it....i can see now why they chose to use this over the aluminum version.i can't see running around and doing stunts with anything heavier than this.

the straps and buckles and stitching look great on the back. this also has the look and feel of some nice quality to the final product.

the finish and paint quality on the front of the shield look great as well. personally i like the brushed effect of the finish and the choice of color is identical to that of the movie....so i can't complain there.

what i'm not to happy with is the finish on the back. you can see what i'm probably talking about on some of the pics i posted. the finish is a bit uneven and bumpy on the surface. while i'm not thrilled about that ....i do know that this is a replica of a movie prop. i have no idea what the hero prop looked like up close...but props are kinda known to look not so great in real life.so, i can live with that.

i'm not happy either with this display device that they send with the shield. i think the plastic "A"s clips on the end are pretty cheesy. i like the stand that comes with the winter soldier shield far better.

the questions begs between something like this and the winter soldier replica is...well, do you want a movie prop or something that's more of a representation of what the shield would look like in real life?

if i knew about the King prop version before i got this....i'd probably would've gone for that. but...again, considering what this is....this is pretty sweet ,too.

bottom line....i'm satisfied with this.

i'll have more pics of the finish when i have better light tomorrow or if it warrants any more pics.

ich werden meine Order wahrscheinlich stornieren, weil es kommen einfach zu viele andere Collectibles.

wie habt ihr ihn vor zu präsentieren? an die Wand mit der Halterung?

nee hab ich Europa bestellt, weil mir das Porto von eFX doch etwas zu hoch war :D

Ich find die Halterung nicht wirklich hübsch, deswegen wird das Schild in greifbarer Nähe einfach nur an die Wand gelehnt ..wenn Gäste jedoch zu übertrieben damit einige Cap Szenen nachstellen, kommts wohl doch an die Wand :D

Laut Fedex kommt meins nächste Woche Dienstag. Der Versand hat 160,41$ ohne Zoll gekostet.
