Genaueres weiß man leider nicht,
dass ein neuer DV kommen wird taucht seit 1,5-2 Jahren immer mal wieder auf bzw. wird von Sideshow immer mal angesprochen. Aber wann er denn kommen wird steht noch in den Sternen. So auch die neue Boba Fett PF.

ist halt nu die Frage wie schnell sowas Neues kommt, da ja nu die Maquette Reihe durchstartet.
Da gibts ja auch Boba und Vader nu. Bei LotR wurden ja nu auch erstmal die PFs etwas vernachlässigt aber dafür direkt einige Maquettes angekündigt, bzw rausgebracht.

Aber wer weiß..

Q. HELLO SIDESHOW, I WAS WONDERING IF YOU GUYS ARE EVER GOING TO MAKE HELMETS? LIKE STORMTROOPER, BOBA FETT, DARTH VADER, SNOWTROOPERS?

A. eFX Collectibles is the place to go for such helmet replicas. However, we plan to bring more of these characters to life as figures and busts!

Q. Will we ever see any Marilyn Monroe pieces by Sideshow, like a Premium Format? You guys have done Elvis, John Wayne, etc. I would absolutely love a Marilyn Monroe piece from you.

A. Marilyn is a classic, no doubt about it, but Sideshow is unlikely to produce anything with her likeness in the near future. She doesn’t really fit with our current focus on monsters, aliens, superheroes, and gore.

Q. I must give Sideshow a great compliment about the Battle Droids and displaying the different ranks (commander, pilot, and security droids) last year at Comic-Con. I think everyone was blown away! I only hope you will give the security droid a darker red color and then you are truly the best! In the movies you can see a darker color red.

A. Roger roger! We’ll take another look at the red coloring before we move the Security Droid into production.

Q. Any chance we’ll ever see a Yuuzhan Vong from The New Jedi Order in 1:6th scale or Premium Format?

A. At this point it’s doubtful, the Vong might be a touch too fringe for our Sixth Scale line. We considered the extremely cool armor and aesthetic design but Yuuzhan would be a very ambitious character to realize in Sixth Scale, and not quite as well known as some other character choices that are likely to come first.

Q. Does the Zartan sixth scale figure change color?

A. Unfortunately no, our master of disguise does not change color. We researched options extensively, hoping to capture that magical effect from the best of the Kenner days, but all modern solutions would force us to paint the skin in a darker color, making Zartan look rather alien as the main ‘temperature’ look. In the end, we decided he looked best without.

Q. WHY DON’T YOU MAKE MORE 1:6 SCALE SITH LORDS? DARTH REVAN, DARTH NIHILUS, STARKILLER AND OTHER SITH LIKE THAT FROM THE GAMES AND HISTORICAL TIMELINES? IF YOU DID, I (AND I’M SURE MANY OTHERS) WOULD CERTAINLY BUY ALL OF THEM! THE DROIDS, CLONE TROOPERS AND OTHER BASIC CHARACTERS LIKE HAN SOLO ARE BORING TO PEOPLE LIKE ME, WHO ARE INTO THE DARKSIDE OF THE FORCE…THAT’S ALL, THANKS. (P.S THE G.I JOE NINJA FIGURES ARE BADASS!!)

A. We absolutely should. They’re all excellent characters, and would make fantastic Sixth Scale figures. We would like to get to them all in due time. At the moment, we’re baking up a new Darth Vader and Darth Malgus. And thanks for the compliments on our Joes! Hey, Ninja + Sith = Darth Maul, right?

Q. WILL YOU GUYS BE MAKING 1:6 GREEN LANTERN (COMIC VERSION THAT IS)? BE THE FIRST TO ORDER IT!

A. Certainly! We’re investigating a lot of cool ideas for accessories and have some rough concepts in the works. We hope to see you at the top of our list when it preorders!

Q. Hi, so happy you guys got the DC license! Just wanted to ask if you guys will ever do Premium Formats or statues of Alex Ross style Superman and Batman? Thank you for your time.

A. It’s a near certainty. We’re big Alex Ross fans, and he has made too big an imprint on DC to NOT represent him in our line at some point.
