‘PRINT IS NOT DEAD’

The Blu-ray of the movie <Soulmate> (2021, Min Yong-geun) has finally been released. Starting with the publication of the making-of book “Soulmate: Making Diary” (written by Lee Eun-sun), which included interviews from the planning/filming stages of the movie to the entire production process, and then “Soulmate: Scriptbook” containing the movie’s scenario, and then DVD and Blu-ray, Plain Archive has been watching the entire process of planning and producing this movie for many years, and has recorded it in various forms of physical media after its release, so it has a special affection for it.

From the authors, planners/editor, designers, staff who shared countless information and stories, to the sources, art/props staff, still photographers, and investment/distribution companies-production companies-management professionals who were in charge of countless communications and approvals. Perhaps, a movie is not just a hot topic at the time of its release to the public, but it is a comprehensive art form that continues to exist with us thanks to the love of many people who remember, record, and even preserve the movie after its theatrical release.
