Hey Leute, ich hätte mal ne allgemeine Frage bezüglich 4K Blu-Rays. Undzwar würde ich mir gerne 'Drive' auf 4K UHD holen, musste aber feststellen, dass Leonine wohl der tatsächlich erste Publisher der Welt war, der dem Film einen 4K Transfer gegeben hat. Blöderweise ist dieser nur nicht wirklich gut gelungen... Kurz danach kam aber auch eine britische 4K Version von Drive raus, die offenbar viel besser ist und scheinbar war sogar der originale Colorist von damals an dem spezifischen Transfer beteiligt. Dass es da zwischen den beiden Versionen so einen großen Unterschied gibt, hat mich doch etwas schockiert.

Meine eigentliche Frage ist jetzt aber, ob es auch bei den großen Publishern Unterschiede von Land zu Land gibt? Also sagen wir mal zum Beispiel 'The Batman'. Ist unsere 4K Disc identisch mit der amerikanischen oder haben wir einen Länderspezifischen Transfer bekommen? Wahrschienlich eher nicht, oder? Meine Vermutung ist ja, dass es bei den kleinen Publishern Unterschiede geben kann (vor allem, wenn sie ihr eigenes Ding machen wie Leonine mit Drive oder scheinbar auch Concorde bei der Iron Man Trilogie) aber die großen müssten weltweit gleich sein, oder?

Würde mich echt freuen, wenn mir jemand mit mehr Ahnung da weiterhelfen könnte. Hab nämlich jetzt etwas Angst, dass ich eine schlechtere 4K Version kaufe, ohne es zu wissen. Ums simpel darzustellen meine Frage nochmal hier: Sind 4K Discs bei uns von den großen Publishern (Warner, Paramount, Sony etc.) die genau gleichen, die man auch in Amerika, Großbritannien usw bekommt?

Die Transfers der Großen sind weltweit identisch. Stimmt. 
Haben kleine Länderlabel die Produktions-Rechte erworben, kann es vorkommen, dass sie eigene erstellen. Korrekt.... aber... 
Manchmal werden die Transfers von anderen Anbietern gekauft. 

Drive

Wo es aber Unterschiede bei den Majors gibt ist z.B. wenn in den USA ein anderer den Film veröffentlicht als der Rest der Welt. Bei Batman ist es überall WB, aber z.B. bei Leon (Sony vs. Studiocanal), Braveheart (Paramount vs. Fox) oder Blade Runner 2049 (Sony vs. WB) gibt es tatsächlich Unterschiede.

Caps-a-holic scheint ja eigentlich ziemlich hilfreich zu sein um die Bilder zu vergleichen aber mich stört es, dass das Bild so groß ist, was man dann hat wenn man auf ein Preview Bild clickt. Das ist einfach zu nah dran um vernünftig zu vergleichen. Aber vielleicht gibts da ja irgendeinen Trick und ich muss etwas rumprobieren.

EDIT: Okay, ja Leute ich habs. Benutze jetzt einfach die rauszoom option von Chrome, sodass alles im Bild ist. Funktioniert echt ganz gut. Sehr interessante und hilfreiche Seite auf jeden Fall.

gibt es nirgendwo eine Liste, die solche besseren Auslandsversionen enthält?
 

Nein. Das geht schon nicht da 'besser' relativ ist. Man muss schon Varianten vergleichen, genau wie Tonspuren, Extras, Gigabyte und Bandbreiten etc.

Caps sind geeignet um Schärfe, Detailreichtum und Kompression zu beurteilen, aufgrund der Konvertierung zu SDR für Farben und Kontrast aber nicht aussagekräftig.

Um irgendwas bei Caps-a-holic vergleichen zu können, darf man natürlich nicht rauszoomen sondern muß die Caps in Originalgröße betrachten. Alles andere ergibt keinen Sinn.
