"Even as the world and industry blazes ahead with modern digital technology and sculpt - Traditional sculpt will always stll hold a special place in my heart. It's very difficult to explain but in my humble opinion, traditional sculpt has natural imperfections which makes a piece feel more alive, more conscious, more 'flow' as if I can feel a sculptor's soul and personal mark embedded within the piece. Sometimes, its not about how much details/textures you can cram into the statue, it's actually the little things such as the position of a hand, wrist, ankle, the subtle stretched muscular anatomy and artistic stylization that makes a piece, an Art piece not just a collectible.
Tim Bruckner, a true Legend and Veteran in the sculpting field has honored us with his amazing traditional rendition of this XM Batman piece, inspired by the Batman Bloodstorm Comic Cover, the second piece of our limited 3-piece Batman Anniversary special line. If you don't know who Tim is, you're missing out on one of the most incredible and respected talent in this field.
