ABOUT THE SHOW

TAGCC ( Toys / Anime / Games / Comic Con ) 2018 will be a premier and epic event that can´t be missed for toy, anime, games and hobbies collectors of all interests in Malaysia. We are the collectors and long-time fans of toys, games and comics. We travel around the world to hunt for ACG and Comic Con events. We focus on promoting pop culture fans in the collection and display of all types of comics, toys, movies, animation, games and related childhood memorabilia and maintaining a network of collectors to help members keep in touch with each other and advance the collecting hobby.

In Malaysia, we know there are passionate fans here and we are excited to bring international brand and pressence with our esteemed partners such as XM Studios, Hot Toys, Prime1 Studio, Royal Selangor, Funko, Mighty Jaxx, Iron Studios and many more. There will also be exciting activities in the areas of anime, comics, games and cosplay! See you there! From Saturday the 7th April to Sunday the 8th April XM Studios will show you during the event at the Exhibition Hall, Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur great statues and work of art.

"There’re lots of nice photos by cool photographers with better skills than me such as Alvin Lim but I’ll throw in some of my humble photos of XM’s highlights at TAGCC. The first comic con of such scale in Malaysia had a good crowd and there’re a lot of excitement and interests in card games and cosplaying. Kudos to the organizers for a commendable effort and I hope they get some well deserved rest!

On the XM side, the new Predator base and factory paint proto was on display, lots more details on the base with skulls as you can see, but this is not final as we are still refining the dreadlocks to make the piece as perfect as we can. Transformers Optimus Prime and Starscream made an appearance and resonated well with Malaysian collectors - there’s a lot of love for the G1 era and seeing these bots brings back fond memories. Optimus is scheduled for PO this Wednesday! Official photos will be up real soon!

We are looking forward to more such events in Malaysia with the next upcoming Asia Comic con in July (just couple of months away) who is organized by our friends from Thailand. XM will be back soon to KL and I look forward to seeing Malaysian pop culture lovers and the incredible amazing food! Malaysia boleh!
