"The Walking Dead"s Lauren Cohan wird für Vertigo-Erfolgsproduzent Roy Lee (The Ring, Die Frau in Schwarz) und The Devil Inside-Filmer William Brent Bell (Stay Alive, WER) im übernatürlichen Horror-Thriller "The Boy" agieren.
"Der handelt von einer Nanny, gespielt von Cohan, die von einem Paar damit beauftragt wird, eine verblüffend menschliche Puppe zu hüten. Die sollte dem Ehepaar über den plötzlichen Tod ihres Sohnes hinweghelfen. Mit der Zeit drängt sich ihr jedoch immer öfter der Verdacht auf, dass es sich bei der Puppe um ein lebendiges Wesen handelt." (= Zitat aus dem Quelllink!).
Gary Lucchesi und Tom Rosenberg von Lakeshore Entertainment produzieren, Brent Bell führt Regie.
