Zu meiner Überraschung musste ich vor etwa einem Monat feststellen, dass der Film nun auch bei uns erscheint - dazu sogar noch auf Blu-ray. Ich habe mir bereits im März die US-DVD geholt (in den USA erschien der Film nicht auf Blu-ray).

The First Time - Dein erstes Mal vergisst du nie!

Mittlerweile habe ich The First Time 2x gesehen. Neben The Perks of Being A Wallflower sicherlich einer der besten Coming-of-Age-Filme der letzten Zeit.
Der Film ist fast ausschließlich auf Dave (Dylan O'Brien, Teen Wolf) und Aubrey (Britt Robertson, Under the Dome) zugeschnitten. Die weiteren Charaktere kommen nur am Rande zum Vorschein. Craig Roberts (Submarine) als Daves Kumpel Simon muss hier auch noch lobend erwähnt werden. Allein schon seine Charakterbeschreibung von Aubreys Freund Ronny ist eines der Highlights des Films.
