Dear Collectors,

 

first of all, we wish you all the best in 2023 and at the same time, we would love to bring you news regarding the preparations for the premium editions of the Filmarena and Black Barons teams.

We are currently working with the hardbox manufacturer on reprinting the entire batch of Justice League hardboxes, as the first shipment did not meet our set quality standards. The new hardboxes should be ready in February and then we will ship all the pairs in the JL hardboxes. Separate editions have already been sent out. Furthermore, we will continue to complete the editions according to their order and we will continuously try to update the release dates of the individual ones.

 

Tonight we will start pre-orders for the next three FAC editions, after a longer time you will also get two premium editions of the Black Barons team:

As for new information on the PREDATOR title, in 4Q last year we have been asked for an update, where the studio requested minor modifications to logos and copyrights, now unfortunately we are waiting again. We have been confirmed to release all the editions, so we are not dealing with the fact that the editions cannot be issued, we are only dealing with the final adjustments. Unfortunately, the communication of the Disney studio has been very slow for several years, and it is impossible to expect it to speed up since physical media is no longer a priority for this studio in regions outside the US. So our plan is to finish the projects we have already announced and then wait for the studio's response as to whether it is interested in continuing the collaboration.

 

Another studio that limits activity toward premium editions is the Paramount studio. We learned from this studio before Christmas 2022 that they are unwilling to approve any additional premium element for THE UNTOUCHABLES title. These were several cards and booklet. Not even the distributor was informed about this current position. We only found out when we were submitting our edition for approval. Since this attitude will be taken by the studio for future editions, we have suspended or canceled all our joint projects. We're still keeping THE UNTOUCHABLES title open in case the studio changes its mind, but we're not counting on it. We are already trying to see things more realistically as they are. 

 

Our cooperation continues with Warner Bros. and Universal studios, which so far have responded flexibly and there was a noticeable desire to do something together for collectors.

 

Studio SONY is unfortunately not represented in our territory. Many of you are encouraging us to take up this opportunity, but unfortunately, we currently do not have the capacity to guarantee this cooperation in any way.

 

And now we have some important news from our background. A couple of weeks ago, we promised you new merch, which we decided to delay for a while and give priority to a new project, which we will present to you soon, and we will give priority to existing regular customers/collectors to be part of its creation and future. With this new project, we will want to become more self-reliant and not be dependent on the will of other subjects who are not interested in bringing new elements and enriching the collector’s world. It will not only concern films and media, we want to have a somewhat wider and also global scope, which should also be a more attractive attraction for a wider group of customers and collectors, to whom we will offer our top products in attractive limitations. We will start gradually by introducing you to the first limited series, which will then be followed up and supplemented by others.

 

We are looking forward to new energy and, above all, a space where we will be able to exercise our creativity and desire to invent new premiums. At the same time, we are experienced and we know in which things we have great reserves and need correction. We mainly mean the long delays in delivery dates, which we will now be precise about because we will shorten and simplify the overall process while maintaining the same high quality as we have had so far. Delivery times will therefore now be calculated with much greater accuracy than was the case until now.

 

When we jump back to the film editions for a moment, it will also return to normal delivery times, but it will take longer, especially due to the large number of editions and their elements that were dealt with at the same time, it was never easy to coordinate reprints and corrections so that they fit in time. We tried to do it all the time, but the delays were getting longer due to other external factors as well.

 

In collector's film editions, we want to continue with selected titles after the completion of the current projects. As long as there is a taste and will of the studios.

Dear Collectors,

we would like to inform you about the May's news.

We are finishing up FAC #167 TENET next week, and then we'll gradually move on to finishing the other titles in order. We are sorry for the delay, but the last batches of lenticular lenses did not meet our standard quality, so we needed to find suitable material again in cooperation with our printer. Which it did. We will update the release dates of the next editions on our site once we have received updated disc supply data.

Today and tomorrow we will also start introducing individual editions for the next round of pre-orders that we will launch next week. In this round you can look forward to the titles:

As for the PREDATOR title, we are still waiting for confirmation that the update has been approved. Please keep your fingers crossed.

Neue Ankündigung von Filmarena.....

 

Dear Collectors,

we are currently dispatching the edition of A QUIET PLACE: Part II, which will most likely be the last edition from Paramount that we have prepared for you.

It's not that we don't want to continue with Paramount, but we received information from the studio through distribution that the only way forward is to accept for our next editions the same components that the studio prepares and approves for the whole world, which means that if we want to approve something extra like a booklet or cards, a folder, a lenticular, it won't be possible... Unfortunately, we can't comply with this strategy, because for several years we've been working in a way that we don't want to take away from, we've always tried to add instead. Care, quality, other components, etc.

Distribution and we have tried to discuss the arguments why the cooperation would continue to be worthwhile, but it was in vain so far.

Nevertheless, we decided to release visuals of the intended components of THE UNTOUCHABLES edition as we planned to make it for you. You never know how far visuals can go this way and what if by chance... We don't count on anything, but we never stop believing.

We originally assigned this edition to the Black Barons team, but after a failed approval, we visually previewed it as a FAC.

We do not send this post maliciously. It is not our intention to initiate hate speech, we want to express ourselves positively and calmly. We believe that this is the only way to break through this communication block. At the same time, we want to present that we worked with the best care with this edition, as you and the film deserve. Please respect our intention and thank you in advance!

we would love to inform you in more detail about the AMERICAN SNIPER collector’s challenge.

At the same time, we apologize for the longer wait than was announced by us. There were two reasons for the delays. The first was the approval update with the WarnerBros, and the second was the technical debates within our team related to the best-chosen solution for sending videos of your collections, as we wanted to avoid problems with saving videos and playing them.


Who is the collector's challenge for?

The AMERICAN SNIPER collector's challenge is for every collector who owns all published FAC titles, i.e. owns at least one edition of every published FAC title #1 - 166. Here we have prepared a breakdown of two versions - for those who own all of the released FAC editions - there is a platinum reward, and for those who own all of the released FAC titles, but do not have all of the editions - there is a gold reward. Collectible rewards are intended for both of these groups if the conditions for their achievement are met. You can see the differences in both editions on the visuals.


How can I get the AMERICAN SNIPER edition?

If you meet at least one condition of the point mentioned above, record your collection in a video where each edition will be clearly visible, including the hologram number (a necessary condition), save the video on youtube/vimeo or a similar platform that allows you to share your video and send us a link to this video to info@filmarena.cz and in the email do not forget to add your phone number and the address to which we will send you the edition. We kindly ask applicants to shoot their videos at least in HD resolution, ideally in Full HD (1080p). If any pieces from the planned limitation remain after the deadline, other collectors will be able to purchase them for a price of CZK 7,777 + shipping, only the gold edition without lenticulars will go on sale to other collectors.


By when and how and where to send the FAC collection video?

Please send us the link to your video no later than 31st August 2023 to the email info@filmarena.cz We will no longer be able to include links delivered later for assessment.


How will I know that my claim has been evaluated positively and that I will receive a collector's reward?

Until September 30, 2023, we will evaluate all applications and for those whose claim is evaluated positively, we will create an order for the AMERICAN SNIPER edition, which they will receive for free, or for a symbolic 1 CZK.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
 

• If any of the collectors do not buy directly from Filmarena, but buy through intermediaries and are interested in receiving a collector's reward, they need to send us a link with this collection directly to the email info@filmarena.cz, where we will be able to view this collection and evaluate their claim. We will reply to you after watching the video and if you get the reward, we will place an order for you.
  

• If a discrepancy is detected, we will contact the owner of the collection directly by email, SMS or phone.
  

• The AMERICAN SNIPER Collector's Edition will be shipped separately and cannot be added to other orders. After studying the sent video, we will prepare an order for this edition for you within the specified period, for which separate postage will be charged. Please respect this condition, as adding this special limited edition to other orders increases the risk of its damage. Thank you for your understanding.
  

• FAC #000 CLOSELY WATCHED TRAINS edition and other collectible REWARDS (FAC #30, FAC #70) do not count towards the conditions to obtain AMERICAN SNIPER edition.
  

• In the meantime, we have completed the inventory of all titles, and some unavailable items found in stock are being put up for sale on the e-shop. If you missed them in your collection, you can buy them now.

Wenn jemand zu den Glücklichen gehört der alle Filmarena sein Eigen nennen kann, bin ich sehr daran interessiert die Platinum Edition zu bekommen. Wenn die jemand bekommt würde ich mich sehr freuen. Gerne PN an mich.

Verstehe ich das richtig, das man die Edition später für 7777 CZK kaufen kann, also für smale 323€? Geil...Ich kaufe die gleich 3mal.
Wie man diesen Laden überhaupt noch unterstützen kann, bleibt mir ein Rätsel.

Um Gottes willen, ist das arm! FA ist wirklich tief gesunken.
