Introducing our new collection Star Wars Mythos



“The Star Wars Universe is limitless with possibilities, its mythology ever-expanding. Our art team wanted to contribute to that expansion by telling new stories about some of the most compelling Star Wars characters. With the encouragement of Lucasfilm, we created the Mythos line of statues.

This line of collectibles will be populated by characters from new and existing story lines. We will bring history, unique details and personal choices to each in order to elaborate on who they are. Through the design and sculpt process our goal is to delve deeper into these established characters and offer our own interpretations of what they have done outside of the Star Wars canon.

Our art team is taking the themes and core concepts common to the Star Wars mythology, such as love, honor, hope, despair and adventure, and accentuating those themes to achieve a collection of figures unlike any we’ve previously offered. Our vision is to portray moments in the imagined lifetimes of these characters and reveal them in a new way, in a new light. We hope to capture the imagination of Star Wars fans all over the world, and share with them our own adventures in that galaxy far, far away.”

Darth Maul Mythos Statue

With the Mythos Darth Maul figure, we are paying homage to a story from the Star Wars Tales comic titled “Nameless.” In it, Maul is tasked to track down and assassinate a legendary Jedi with technique so pure he wields only a wooden club. After being once defeated, Maul fabricates his signature dual lightsaber, inspired by Sith schematics and weapons of his native people. We have envisioned him in a strong, almost meditative martial artist pose. He is dressed in loose garments not unlike that of a Ronin samurai, with one sleeve off and fabric draped to expose tattoos on his upper body. He stands with both arms extended, one clutching his victorious new weapon at his side, and the other out in a Force push.

Oha, neue Statuen Serie um die Star Wars Suchtis zu schröpfen. ;)

Der Boba Fett schaut ja mal genial aus, ein alternder Obi-Wan, nen neuer Darth Vader und nen Schweinchen. :D

Darth Maul schaut mir zu metro aus :(

"Metro???"....der sieht aus,wie ein Darth Maul aussehen sollte,nicht mehr,nicht weniger.
Wir werden letzendlich sehen wer ihn bestellt (wenn die Limitierung stimmt,gell?:rofl:) und wer nicht....

Sieht interessant aus...ich würd fast so auf den HdR-Maquette-Scale tippen ;)

Uii, diese News und die ersten Bilder haben mir ein breites Grinsen ins Gesicht gezaubert. Das sieht alles sehr vielversprechend aus - auch die anderen Statuen wie Vader und Fett sind FETTTTTT.

Hoffentlich 1:5 und nicht 1:6; wobei 1:4 mir auch recht wäre ^^
