Plot:
"The story centers on an experienced train engineer (Denzel Washington) who’s about to be laid off as part of company cutbacks. Chris Pine (’Star Trek’) plays the young conductor hired to replace him. They find themselves in a race against time to stop an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train carrying enough combustible liquids and poisonous gas to wipe out a nearby city."

Denzel Washington must have a thing for trains! Hard not to think about his previous film 'The Taking of Pelham 123'... Unstoppable is a new story though: the script was penned by Mark Bomback (Live Free or Die Hard) and is loosely inspired by a true event that took place in Ohio in 2001.
