PSN spielt "Hauptrolle"
In einem Interview mit den Kollegen von GamePro verriet John Koller, Marketing Direktor von SCEA, dass das PSN eine der drei wichtigsten Säulen im Jahr 2010 bilden wird.

„Das PSN spielt eine wichtige Hauptrolle im kommenden Jahr!
Wir wollen einige neue Features hinzufügen und streben weiterhin daran einen Weg zu finden, die Wünsche der Community zu realisieren.“, was genau Koller meint und ob es um den Cross-Over-Chat geht, bleibt allerdings geheim.

„Wir haben drei Hauptpunkte im kommendem Jahr: Motion-Conrol-Gaming, 3D-Gaming und das PlayStationNetwork.”, verrät Koller und fährt fort “Für uns ist das Motion-Control viel mehr als nur das, was derzeit auf dem Markt ist.
Sollten wir schon jetzt alle Details verraten, so wird sich die Community auf alles einstellen, nicht nur vom Hardware Faktor, aber auch vom kommenden Gameplay – so wird es eine sehr interessante Erscheinung und nette Überraschung.“

Zum Schluss kommentiert John Koller die neuen Spiele.
„Wir haben leider noch nicht alle Abmachungen getroffen, allerdings werden die Titel die wir 2010 auf den Markt bringen, sehr interessant werden.
Einige der großen Marken haben neue Wege gefunden Spiele zu gestalten und somit für Abwechslung zu sorgen.“

Die Demo zum neuen Shooter Army of Two: The 40th Day ist soeben im UK, AT und CH-Store online gegangen und kann kostenlos runtergeladen werden.

Benutzer des DE-Stores werden leider vergeblich nach der neuen Demo suchen, bei uns wird sie, aufgrund der USK-Regelung, nicht erscheinen.

Cool. Mit der Gran Turismo 5 Mini-Demo mal endlich wieder was vernünftiges. Bin mal gespannt auf das komplette Lineup für das dieswöchige PSN Update. Soll doch angeblich etwas umfangreicher ausfallen, da in der Weihnachts- und Sylvester-Woche keine Updates kommen.
