Shout hat heute offiziell die ersten zwei Titel auf Disk (4K + Blu-ray) des Golden-Princess-Paketes genannt:
- HKCC #6: City of Fire (26.8.25)
- HKCC #7: Peking Opera Blues (23.9.25)

Erstmal digital, aber später sicher auch auf Disk in 4K kommen:
- A Better Tomorrow 1-3
- Bullet in the Head
- Hard-Boiled
- The Killer

Und ganz wichtig;
For the upcoming HONG KONG CINEMA CLASSICS releases, Shout! Studios, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Film Archives, has been working diligently to remaster and restore several prized hits, all scanned in stunning 4K from the original camera negatives. The video and audio have been restored, and the subtitles have been newly translated. With fans in mind, Shout! Studios is currently producing a variety of bonus content for each physical media release for this numbered and deluxe home entertainment series.

Meine Freude ist unbeschreiblich groß. Nach über 20 Jahren endlich wieder legale VÖs dieser Titel im Westen (laut der Meldung bei Deadline)!

@DaMikstar Grandios ! Ich kann deine Freude nachvollziehen, allein von John Woo habe Ich eine ganze Liste die Ich haben möchte aus den 80ern und 90ern :-)

@Kobe24RIP Die Woo-Filme von Golden Princess/Cinema City dürften alle kommen. Und noch mehr, z.B. von Ringo Lam oder Tsui Hark.

Ich bin da zwiegespalten. Zodiac wurde digital gedreht in FullHD. Die UHD US kommt auch nicht so gut weg in Kommentaren.

Krass. Nach der US in 2024 kam ja nichts mehr. Nun also Europa. Ob es hier auch beide Editionen auf Disc schaffen? In den USA sind die 157 Minuten und 162 Minuten. Amazon.fr gibt nur 162 Minuten an.
In den USA gibt es auch eine Bonus Blu-ray. Dort ist es aber auch alles von Paramount.
