Fünftes Entwicklertagebuch zu Assassins Creed II

Ubsioft hat das fünfte Entwicklertagebuch zu “Assassins Creed II” veröffentlicht. Diesmal gehen die Entwickler auf Ezios Lebenswandel ein und erklären, wie es zu seinem Assassinen-Dasein kommen konnte.
Außerdem geben sie Hintergrundinformationen zum Setting des zweiten Teils der Assassinen-Saga und beleuchten hierzu unter anderem die Schönheit Italiens zur Blütezeit der Renaissance. Schwerpunkt des Videos ist aber der Werdegang Ezios in den fast 30 Jahren, in denen Assassin’s Creed II spielt. Von 1476 bis 1503 entwickelt sich Ezio von einem jungen, unbescholtenen Bürger zu einem kaltblütigen Mörder, der einen bedingungslosen Rachefeldzug bestreitet, um die Hinrichtung seines Vaters zu vergelten.
Dabei lernt er eine Vielzahl an Menschen kennen, schließt Freundschaften und lernt von ihnen sogar neue Fähigkeiten, die ihm im Kampf zu Gute kommen. Neben dem im Laufe des Spiels stetig anwachsenden Repertoire an Angriffsmöglichkeiten, kann Ezio auch immer bessere Waffen und Rüstungen erwerben, die ihm entscheidende Vorteile im Kampf gegen seine Kontrahenten verleihen.

Assassins Creed 2: Neue Infos


Dieses Jahr hat Ubisoft einen “Fan Day” zu Assassins Creed 2 in Italien veranstaltet, auf der sie über 100 Fans neue Informationen preisgegeben haben.Wer nichts neues erfahren will, überliest diese News einfach.
Hier die neuen Informationen:

• Ubisoft showed some footage of the game, and then drawed one lucky person from the public to play it live on stage.
  

• They announced the already known short live action movies, made by the recently acquired studio Hybride Technologies, makers of the fx for Sin City and 300. The movies show the story of Ezio’s father, an assassin for the Medici family.
  

• The game starts with an action gameplay sequence set in the present, showing Desmond and Lucy Stillman escaping from Abstergo Industries. Desmond has to fight his way out against several guards. He’s then taken to the Assassins den, where he must train to become one of them. He’ll have to use the Animus to be trained.
  

• Once in the past, the game starts with a young Ezio wandering in Florence, trying to pick girls up and randomly brawling with people. He then meets Leonardo da vinci.
  

• Pickpocketing is much easier, and we can steal moneys to pay the medic when we’re hurt, buy new costumes and weapons.
  

• Ezio’s color changes from grey when he’s perfectly hidden to colored when the guards are aware of his presence.
  

• Quest types as a young boy range from couriering documents for his father, accompanying his mother around and searching for eagle feathers for his younger brother.
  

• In Venice there’ll be three factions that we can make friends or enemies, by helping or opposing them. They are Pronstitutes, Thiefs, Mercenaries.
  

• Once in Venice, Ezio meets the Pronstitutes head which trains him in the arts of hiding and theft
  

• The story will cover 30 years in Ezio’s life, so we’ll see his path from youth to becoming a cold-blooded assassin. This will be alternated with the present day story, which will be very deep too.
  

• Graphics made a good leap, while the gameplay is like the one in the first game, but more open, various and less repetitive. Fights are very choreographic and spectacular.

Wo lag denn der Preis??

Hab ich hier schon mal gepostet, hab sie damals direkt bei Amazon bestellt für unschlagbare 80,99 €. Gott, wie ich mich freue. Günstiger wird man sie wahrscheinlich nirgends mehr bekommen.

Assassin´s Creed II: Fast 90.000 vertonte Dialog-Zeilen

“Assassin´s Creed II” wird euch nach dem Release eine Vielzahl an Dialogen um die Ohren hauen. Wie Ubisoft Montreal´s Community-Developer Azaïzia Aymar via Twitter zwitscherte, wird das Meuchelmörder-Spiel rund um Ezio ganze 87.206 Zeilen vertonte Dialoge beinhalten, die wiederum in nicht weniger als sieben Sprachen aufgeteilt sind.
“Assassin’s Creed II” erzählt ab November eine epische Geschichte über Familie, Rache und Verschwörung. Schauplatz ist das Italien der Renaissance, eine Epoche, die Meilensteine der Kunst hervorbrachte, aber auch Schattenseiten voller Korruption und Habgier beinhaltete. Ezio freundet sich mit Leonardo da Vinci an, bekommt es mit den mächtigsten Familien in Florenz zu tun und wandelt durch die Kanäle Venedigs.
