First announced shortly after the successful opening of their
The Heat, director Paul Feig and leading lady
Melissa McCarthy are planning to re-team for a female-driven spy
comedy titled Susan Cooper. Today, Deadline reports that
Jason Statham has also entered talks to star.
Feig wrote the script, which is said not to be a spoof, with plans
to produce through his first look deal at Fox with Feigco
Entertainment banner along with the company's new executive VP
Jessie Henderson and Fox's Daria Cercek overseeing.
Susan Cooper would mark the third big screen team-up for Feig and
McCarthy. In addition to the The Heat, the pair
worked together on 2011's Bridesmaids, which
grossed more than $288 million worldwide.
Statham, who starred earlier this year in Parker
and who cameoed in Furious Six, has two major
franchise sequels planned for 2014 with The Expendables 3 and Fast
& Furious 7.

Na das scheint ja mal wieder ein etwas anderer Film für Statham zu
werden, vielleicht eher so in Richtung Crank? Die Combo mit Melissa
McCarthy lässt sowas jedenfalls vermuten.

Er hat ja mit Jason auch schon bei 13 vor der Kamera
gestanden.
Der 50 mischt ja mittlerweile auch mit wo er nur kann. :)In Escape
Plan fand ich ihn gut, er mausert sich langsam zu einem soliden
Darsteller. Der Film, wo er den Krebskranken Footballer spielt (
mit Ray Liotta und Mario Van Peebles ) war auch ne ordentliche
Leistung auch wenn es sehr B-C Movie rüberkam. Da hat er mal eben
20-25 Kilo abgenommen, sah schon heftig aus, wenn man ihn sonst
immer mit ordentlich Muskelmasse rumlaufen sieht.

Sawasdee1983 ist fleißig
50 spielt aber meist in Filmen mit die er auch selbst produziert.
Also im B-Sektor ist er schon ganz oft vertreten muss ich sagen.

Könnte mir den auch ganz gut in einer Nebenrolle bei den
Expendables vorstellen.

du weisst schon das er ursprünglich mal in Gespräch war, dann aber
wegen Protesten durch Terry Crews ersetzt wurde? Ein Glück sage ich
mal, 50 Cent soll schön weiter DTV Filme drehen.

:D ok, ich glaube das ist mir entgangen. Da bin ich Deiner Meinung:
Crews ist um Welten cooler als 50, gar keine Frage!
