A 7 out of 10 is about right.
I have mine in hand now, and here's the deal:
The main body and head are cast in a blue plastic (not polystone).
That is where Neytiri's base blue color comes from. The stripes,
spots and eyes are all decals, so there is almost no paint at all
on Neytiri herself.
The worst part is, every other part; tail, hair, arrows, necklace,
are all made of rubber. That's why it looks like her hair is
floating, and why they couldn't make the hairline more detailed. I
guess they figured out after all of the Gandalf heads that were
returned that you can't do superfine detail with this cheap-ass
rubber, or it melts/deforms. (for those who don't know, Gandalf's
hair is completely made of rubber).
Well, maybe I shouldn't say that's the worst part, because really,
the worst part is the plastic base. It is absolutely the sorriest
excuse of a base I've seen. I kid you not, I've seen better quality
on those piece of crap plastic castles you put in the bottom of
fishtanks. That's the kind of quality we're talking here on the
base. It's one thing that the sculpt is just pathetically soft, but
then the paint is just thrown on with a bucket.
But, like I said, overall, the piece does look good at 5 feet, so
yeah a 7 out of 10 on this one.

It's a tough call.
I like the statue, I don't like the quality of the statue.... does
that make any sense? They got the pose right, I like the attitude.
I'm even okay that Neytiri's frame isn't heavy polystone, but I
absolutely hate the parts that are made of rubber. That said, you
can't necessarily tell they are until you touch them.
The base is just bad. No other word for it. It looks more like
she's standing in a local oak tree, instead of something from the
world of Pandora. And even as just an oak tree, it's just poorly
done. Soft sculpt, bad paint.
If you're a BIG fan of Avatar, wait for the 1:4 Legacy piece. If
you just want to have a decent representation of Neytiri that
blends well with your other 1:4 scale pieces, I'd say get it. It
will blend in with your display and you'll forget the bad parts.
I'd say find a regular at a really good price. The exclusive parts
do nothing for it.
I'll have pics up in a bit.
Alright so, forgetting the base issues, and the rubber/plastic
stuff, and the hairline, Neytiri's likeness isn't too bad. I mean,
as a 1/4 scale representation, it isn't horrible:
And second, I also want to show the difference a little mood
lighting makes. The only difference between these two shots is, I
changed the location of where the light was coming from. You can
see things change, such as the wideness of her nose, which looks
too thin when her face in bathed in light.
